When you are adding the same note over and over, consider creating a templated note. The templated notes section is under Setup (gears), Standard Descriptions and Notes. Some ways a templated note will help you are:
Canned Jobs
Are you building the same repair over and over? If so, it's a great time to create a canned job. This will allow you to simply “right-click” your mouse and then choose from a list of common jobs you perform. Some examples of common canned jobs include:
Texting
Every week I enter a shop that could have saved hours each month for themselves and their customers if they simply sent a templated message saying “Your vehicle is ready. Please call or text to make arrangements”. Sometimes your customers are unable to accept a call and a simple text will do. Texting saves time, documents the communication in Manager SE and makes the it easier for your customers to do business with you. Some common text examples are:
When you sending an email to your customer, use Mozilla Thunderbird or Outlook. You can customize your email template in Manager SE. The estimate, repair order or invoice will be attached as a PDF and emailed to your customer, along with the templated text.
